Memory isn't stored as narrative but as incidental clusters of imagery — surfacing at unexpected moments, quietly shifting perception of the past. Nostalgia functions here as both reconstruction and instruction: a way of freezing what was, and a force that reforms how it's understood. Ruminating in cyclical waves, each involuntary return slowly loses vitality, leaving behind a scattered residue of what once was and what might have been. It's A Lackluster Lapse of Longing.
